It's Over!

The first official week of summer 2011 is O-V-E-R.
And what have I done?

-Work long nights on my and Lizzi's lovechild.
-Spent hours reading magazines and have begun thinking what I really want to do in life.
-Had the first Z-Club officer meeting and got alot accomplished compared to previous years.
-GOTTEN A wee TAN! (I'm working on it!)
-Won all but one summer league game for basketball. (Reffs were cee are aye pee!)
-Caughten up on all The Voice episodes!
-Updated my freaking iPod, and haven't taken the buds out of my ears since!
-Gone to places where boys flirted with me.
-Flirted back with a boy I never thought I would. (Don't worry, it's a dud!)
-Been grossed out with Justin and Selena basically having sex on the beach and in her living room with others present.
-Finished a pretty darn good book called College Life.
-Thought about my wardrobe and the much needed updates it needs (thanks InStyle and teenvogue).
-SPENT SO MUCH TIME WITH FRIENDS IT'S INCREDIBLE! (My parents usually don't let me out much.)
-Started saving the wee bit of money my mother making me so my dad is allowed to buy me a car.
-GOTTEN SO ENTIRELY P-U-M-P-E-D FOR SUNDAY JULY 5TH
MTV MOVIE AWARDS, YALLLLL!

But you know what one usually, kind of really, doesn't think at all?

And I know it's not just me.
Justin is nominated for his collaboration with Rascal Flatts for the song "That Should Be Me" and I really hope he wins.
Not just because I'm a big fan and I have BieberFever, but I just want to throw it in every persons face that is always like, "He can't sing.. He's not a real artist.. He's just a kid.. He's not even talented, it's just autotune.."
Well let me tell you something: Go out and find a thirteen (about how old he was when introduced to the industry) year old kid that horrible quality videos are posted on YouTube yet they get millions of hits, no, find even an adult that can do that, and still sound as great as he does unplugged (talent), find someone who coming from nothing can still entertain a crowd better than some of the people that's been in this industry since a) birth or b) longer than JB has (talent? yeah), and find someone who isn't autotuned. Have you heard the latest Britney Spears album? Ke$ha? Everyone uses autotune on their albums you idiot, it's when they sing live that you have to pay attention.
Have you heard him sing live? Or at least a live version of a song? If you have you're lieing through you're teeth that he's "not talented" if you haven't, don't say anything until you've heard the music.
Finally, how many R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop artist's can collaborate with a country band and still make the song sound good?
I don't know, but you could probably count them on one hand.

Speak Now Tour

I already bought tickets for the October show in Dallas, and those were expensive for not so great seats, but then Taylor decided she was going to ADD venues to the list, one of those being CentryTel Center, where I wanted to go in the first place..

AP English IIII is taking a trip to London next Spring Break, and although I really, really, reallllly wanted to go my father gave me an ultimatum.

I need a car, and London isn't going anywhere so of course I picked car!

Besides by saving myself and Pops a little over two grand, I started convincing him that he should buy me and two friends tickets to the Speak Now Tour on September 20th.

Jesse James presents the D-Bag Awards of the Year

No one can forget when the whole "Jesse James cheated on Sandra and announced it right before she won an OSCAR!" period of time.
Personally, I never liked the guy. I mean, no offense to inked peeps, but Sandra always seemed to good for that..
Anyway, I thought I was done hating on him, BUT! NO! He decided he was going to write a book and include his thoughts on who is BETTER IN BED!
Are. You. Freaking. KIDDINGME!?!
How big of a jerk do you have to be to realize that that WOULD NOT be civil. Or classy, but okay let's all admit that "Jesse James" and "classy" are two words that should never go together.

I'm just appalled.
And I'm already type-rambling so to save your brain from trying to convey all of my mix matched thoughts, I'm going to publish this post already.

One of my best friends is sitting in the classroom crying, because she's stressed about college.
She's already been accepted, but it's the

that's worrying her.

MTV is Back (With Big Black)

Lately with my favorite reality shows (The Hills, The City, Fantasy Factory and My Life As Liz) all either showing reruns or not being on air at all, I've kind of drifted from MTV.
But! Our relationship is back!

My Life As Liz this season is pretty addictive. Everyone complains about how the show is "so fake" and scripted, but honestly? What show isn't even just the slightest scripted?
All of the reality shows that claim they aren't are guilty as well. If they loose the sound to a take what must they do? Reenact the scene.

Fantasy is back and so is Big Black! I loveloveloveLOVE this show. Rob is so completely random and outgoing and just not afraid to do anything! Drama's mostly a little wimp so it's fun to see Rob persuade him into doing things he's scared of. And Big Black? All I should have to say is Big Black.

America's Best Dance Crew was never my favorite show. Never. I mean the first season it was cool, although most competition shows are cool for the first season. But like American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, I got bored after the first season. Every so often when ABDC was playing I'd watch it when there wasn't anything else that was catching my attention, but I'd never keep up with the show.

Except for this year..

It's Season of the Superstars and I am SO ENTIRELY EXCITED. Obviously I love everything that has to do with superstars, BUT I thought this season was going to be somewhat of a joke. I mean the only difference from this season and past seasons is that every week they all would be dancing to the same superstar artist. ..but haven't they always done that? I don't even know, all I know is when I sat down to watch the show and saw all these cute little Italians from Jersey, I was  <---hooked on some ten year old's that looked like Justin Bieber.

You can't imagine my surprise when I witnessed this ten year old quido pull up his shirt and reveal his MAN abs. Not little boy abs that are just from them being skinny, but MAN abs that D-Trix (a dancer from one of the past champion crews that replaced an old judge, that I can't even think of) said are making Mario [Lopez] jealous. And I can't even lie, that ten year old kid has better abs than most of the guys at my school. And I'm a freaking junior!!

Oh BTW, when I saw them for the first time during the "how they made it through the week/meet ICONic boys" clip, I said to my dad, "They look like a bunch of Justin Bieber's." And he disagreed telling me that I shouldn't "embarrass" those boys like that, but when the judging started what was one of the first things D-Trix said?

"Y'all just look like a bunch of Justin Bieber's."

I called it!

These kids can dance! They were one of the first two crews that were called to be safe and return on next weeks show. They beat adult crews. C'mon now, if these kids don't win.. I don't know what's going on.
