Never Say Never

The morning of February 11th I was in my first period teachers aide class and me and two other girls were talking about Justin, and our teacher Duncan cut in, “You know, with him, people’s judgments are totally polar. They either love him, or hate him.”

Point.

After watching this movie, a lot of critics said that it would make you like Justin and have a bit of respect for him.

Then others backlashed at the ones who said this, and said they would not be changing their views.

I want to know how they feel about what they had said, because this movie was good.

And I know I seem biased, because I FrEaKiNg LOOOoooOOvE JuStIn BiEbEr!!1!1!!!, but on the real guys?

The movie did actually teach a lesson, and I realize that I would have said I loved it, even if it wasn’t that amazing, but this movie takes you on the inside.

Who doesn’t like to be inside the warm hotel room instead of out in the cold watching through a foggy window?

Jon Chu directed the film, and he did really well. I really enjoyed all the effects he did, not just when Justin was performing, but the web screen, twitter tweets, and scene transformers.

When the movie started I kept getting chills.

I don’t remember the last time I got chills from being inside a stuffy theater with preteen hormonal girls screaming at the boy that is thousands of miles away.

The home videos played a big part in my chills, I’ve watched kidrauls videos before, but the way Chu set them up, and put all the puzzle pieces together with interviews about what exactly was going on when these videos were taken really caught my attention. When I watched these videos previously, all I saw was a mini JB pounding on some drums when he was four, then singing and strumming acoustically in front of the Avon Theater. I guess I never really paid attention that this mini Bieber was the actual mini Bieber before anyone knew his name, before anyone wanted to know his name, before he had any coaching, before he had anyone other than his mom’s friends to teach him a G cord on the guitar. I never really comprehended that this kid actually loves to do what he does, and had to work hard to get where he is.

Playing at radio stations that won’t play your music because you need to go through the “Nickelodeon or Disney machine” seems like the obvious thing to do, but when your fifteen and have a young voice, it’s hard to get through to people who think they know it all.

But he did.

Justin always says how much his fans mean to him, and we really see that in this movie.

“JUSTin was born ON MARCH 1ST 1994 at 12:56 A.M. on a TUESDAY.“

That was creepy, but cute, and the all caps are where the girls emphasized.

When he gets an infected throat just three days before his sold out show at MSG, and has to reschedule one show, he gets really upset because he feels like he’s letting the people wanting to see him down.

Some artists get sick and cancel and don’t care, or they cancel because they have strep throat.

Justin Bieber doesn’t. (the strep throat part is real; and he doesn’t unless is ordered by a doctor and Mama Jan convinces him that if he doesn’t reschedule one show, later down the road he will have to post-pone six or seven)

You get to see Bieb interact with the crowd, something people who haven’t been to on of his concerts (achem, I’m going to his next tour deff.an.at.ly. [I know I spelt that wrong, it was intended]), don’t get to see.

By the way..

THE ONE LESS LONELY GIRL PART?

Sweetest thing on this planet.

I’d die if Justin gave me roses.

I’d die if Justin sang to me.

I’d die if I walked on his stage.

I’d die if Scooter, Ryan, or Alison came up to me and asked if I wanted to be the OLLG.

Wait, rewind. I love how Justin’s gang goes around asking everyone if they have tickets and if they don’t they give them within the FIRST TEN ROWS!!!!

Question. Would I be a bad person if they came up to me and I said I didn’t even if I defiantly did?

I love how he takes everything in. Watching the construction that’s going on to the MSG stage for the night performance. I loved how Scooter made a Mario comment. (Aria, you would have luuhved it!) I loved how he jokes around with everyone, and was just.. A teenage kid. I loved how he was not once trying to be “grown up.” I love how he’s not shy about showing emotions.

I also really like how he is still friends with his original friends. He’s not obsessed with hanging out with all the celebrity people.

I recently read an article in TODAY and it was talking about how the base of Bieb’s fan base is, obviously, young girls. And that’s true, I’m not saying “no” but in the movie you get to see that, no, it’s not only twelve year olds that like him, grown women and some dudes.

Mostly the famous dudes, but that’s only because guys his age thinks they’re “uncool” if they are a fan of his.

But I’m like.. Guys? Take notes from this, you could learn a lot.

Bieber kind of acts like a boy-whore (at least that’s what I think), but at least when he’s into a girl he doesn’t mess around, and knows how to treat her. Even the fans? I can’t name one young idol who interacts with his fans as much as Bieber.

And I don’t think he does it just because they’re (mostly) girls, and he feels like “tha man” but he really appreciates his fans.

A lot of them have it in they’re mind that they’re the ones that “found” him and made him famous.

I have got to agree. They are the ones that found kidraul on YouTube, made him a “Favorite” and “trender” on YouTube. They’re the reason why Scooter Braun got that e-mail with the link to kidraul’s page.

In the movie, Bieber tweets something about how he appreciates all the kind words, and he doesn’t want to let anyone down; and when I went on twitter the day after the movie premiered someone had gone through all of his tweets (which is AH-LOT for those of you who don’t follow him) and retweeted it.

I almost started crying.

Not because, OmG JuSTiN wAz SiCk.

But, it’s just weird for you to see something on screen, when it was happening, like months ago, and then someone retweets the original..

I don’t think that’s a good enough explanation, sorry.

I know I keep saying this, but I really don’t know why people don’t like him.

I mean, when I didn’t have Bieber Fever; I wasn’t a major fan, but I liked his music. But then I started paying attention to his music, and yeah he sound like a girl on some songs in his first album, but he was young and had a young voice.

Call mother nature up if you have beef with it.

But one thing you can’t deny is that this kid has talent.

Usher wouldn’t have wasted his time with him.

Most artists don’t get L.A. Reid to listen to a full track of their music.

Scooter got him to listen to 10 of Justin’s.

Another thing I don’t get is why people think that he’s “so conceited.”

I get the girl thing, but when people complain about him saying he’s the next Michal Jackson, I don’t get it, because other people are the ones that’s saying it.

Justin says he looks up to MJ and how he handing the transition from teenage to adult star, but everyone else are the ones that is saying that.

He’s probably going along with it now, but yeah, the kid is kind of like this generation’s MJ.

He’s also this generation’s Zac Efron.

I remember when I was in the seventh grade and Zac became an overnight star with High School Musical when he was about 16/17.

Zac had older girls buzzin’ over him too, just like Justin.

I feel like he’s the male version of Taylor Swift also.

Obviously Taylor’s better than him, and she’s more of the break-up song type; but Justin’s music is the music you want to listen to when boys are dumb, you want to feel special, and when you’re driving through town in the summer time just chilling.

You know what I mean?

Ech Hem.

Callan McAuliffe.

Usher.
Oprah.
Ellen.
Will Smith.
Actually, all of the Smith's.

Taylor Swift.
Ariana Grande.
Jon Stewart.
David Letterman.
George Lopez.
Leona Lewis.
Debby Ryan.

And these are just to name a few.
Did you take in all these names?
Good. Now realize that there are many, many, many, more.
Big names in Hollywood.

That all agree on one thing.

Never Say Never is a good film.

It doesn't matter if you don't like Justin Bieber, you will like this movie.

It might even make you have some kind of respect for Biebs.

This is what truely confuses me:

People don't like him just because he's a kid who sings about love and girls.
Um. Okay?

Here's an article.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/02/09/us-film-bieber-idUSTRE7187EY20110209

I could have posted an article where the journalist is all about the Biebs and loves him like all his die hard fans. But this dude, obviously doesn't want to sound gay or isn't the biggest fan of JB but he had good things to say about the movie.

Well he didn't trash it anyway.

Jealousy is In.

I am so completely jealous of every single person that live in the city of Los Angeles.

I know it sounds ridiculous, and like I’m over exaggerating my emotions of wanting to live there, but seriously dude?!
I live in Longview, Texas.

We don’t have Nokia Theaters that have movie premieres.
We don’t have any theaters that movies premiere, period.
I hate seeing all these contests on twitter and other social networks that are all, “Be the first to tweet the answer and YOU will win a pair of tickets to the Never Say Never Los Angeles premiere!!”

Or watching Ellen and Justin Bieber is there and surprises the entire audience with tickets to the premiere.

Or some random theater that on Valentines Day, JB is going to surprise his fans by just showing up.

I know I’m using the Biebs as all my examples, but to be far, I just got finished watching him on Ellen, and he’s been everywhere lately (as stated in one of my previous blog posts) so he’s a good example right now.

Ugh. See? This is why I am desperate to get out of Longview for college. I don’t care if I have to eat Ramon noodles through all four years (and that’s saying something, because I truly hate those things!). I want to be able to experience things.

Oh? Taylor Swift just tweeted that she’s gonna be on Hollywood Blvd. in about an hour?
I’m there.

E! News is doing a special segment outside their studio’s?
I’m there.

There’s screenings of the latest soon-to-be block buster?
I’m there.
Lisi Harrison is doing a book signing at the Newport Beach Barnes & Noble?
I. Am. There.

Does anyone else feel like this?

Ahh!

Okay! Biebs was a total sweetie on The Seven! And it was so awesome for MTV to surprise Justin with his best friends! Awhhh!
Oh snap, I have a few more things to add to the list: while I was on twitter E! News tweeter that Belibers might wanna tune in at 7(6central) for a sneak peek at something Bieber related.
Yuhhh.
Then, E! News red carpet team tweeter that the Biebes is gonna make a surprise appearance on SNL.

HE IS EVERYWHERE!!!

Beibfev.. It's getting to me!

So remember how I was talking about Justin Bieber being everywhere this week?
Well yeah, he still is.
Two things I forgot to mention, wait make that three.
1. The Daily Show
2. Live With Regis and Kelly. Which he taught them (and me lol) how to Dougie
And finally 3. Today, but instead of making an appearance, the Biebs had to call in for a raincheck because he woke up sick and his mom made him sleep in.
Okay, so at first I was like, "Awhh poor Justin!" but then I thought about how he is suppose to be on The Seven today!!! And Letterman!!
When I read an article about him and he talks about how much his health is important because he doesn't wanna let his fans down, I never really got that until today, when I was kind of upset he didn't show to Today.

today is gonna be nuts...gotta pull it together. @MTV on @TheSevenMTV ... then @106andpark and then Letterman tonight again. #PullitTogether
web • 2/4/11 12:49 PM

Oh! Include 106 and Park to that list!

@scooterbraun just told me fans are in TIMES SQUARE for @TheSevenMTV ....wont let u down.
web • 2/4/11 12:50 PM

He really does care about all his fans. Its kind of cool for him to outright say it, instead if letting his "people" make an announcement for him or not even say anything at all!
One up for JB.

Justin Bieber Takes Over

Everywhere, is where this kid has been lately.

Let me let you in on some things:
-He was on the cover of Vanity Fair
-He was on the cover of GL (Girl's Life)
-He released his Nicole OPI Nail Polish which donates part of it's procedes to Pencils of Promise.
-He was on Letterman Monday night
-He is going to wrap up Letterman on Friday
-He was on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
-He is going to be on MTV's The Seven on Friday LIVE! Eeeeeeeekkk!
-His 3-D Movie NeverSayNever opens to the public on Feb. 11th (purple 3-D glasses anyone?)
-He is going to host Nickelodeon's Valentines weekend special. I forget the legit name for it.
-He is going to preform on the Grammy's

Is that enough for you? I'm pretty sure I (didn't) miss something.. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
But seriously guys, I'm so excited for his movie. I think all of the people who despise or hate him don't actually know where he's coming from.
And I do right? I know that sounds weird, but whatever, I do.

I was reading this article on billboard.com and it said that doubts will leave the theater with a new appreciation for him.
I'm not saying you have to love him, but the kid is legit.

I've Come to This Conclusion

Instead of just NOT blogging all the time, because I'm always on my phone instead of my laptop and the iPhone doesn't have a blogger app..
I'm gonna type out my blogs in a note then just COPY AND PASTE!!!
Simple resolution, no?

Because we all know how behind I am..
