So we all know about Miley's video of her smoking surfaced, and everyone didn't want to comment on it.
Turns out that her people knew about the video and were trying (but obviously failed) to hide it. I don't know what I would do if I was Miley's publicist. She would drive me crazy, but people shouldn't dog her so much, because I'm going to bet that alot of teens in California do it legally, and many probably do it illegally.
So you all can chill.
I just wish that she wouldn't pull this crap, then she wouldn't have anything to worry about.
I don't get how you can have everything and more in the palm of your hand, but still end up doing this. I know she has other things she could be doing.
AND for the the "friend" who videoed this?! Yeah, you probably need to back up before she charges you up. I can't even believe Miley still calls that person a friend..
A "college student" apparently got ahold of the video, possibly from the "friend" that videoed it?
"In exchange for the video, money was reportedly discussed." duhh.
"Instead of money, the student reportedly gave a man from Miley’s camp, when he came to the student’s college campus, his MacBook Pro containing the video in return for a new MacBook Pro."
Why would you do that just for a new computer, really? Musta been a really geeky kid.

Yesterday, December 13, was Taylor Alison Swift's twenty-first birthday. And to all the haters out there who thought she would end up in a bar on her birthday night, and end up in rehab two weeks later. Burn.

I hate this.
I feel as life is a challenge that some people just want you to believe is impossible. A brick wall that you can’t break through. In my case, being involved with something you love, and have little doubt the outcome of all your hard work isn’t going to be positive. Then you find out it isn’t.
Team is greater than me. My teams basketball motto. It has double standards to me, even though I know that it shouldn’t. Working hard, going hard, and encouraging each other is important and essential for a team to function. I thought I had all these elements, but I guess what you think and what you’re friends and teammates are telling you, doesn’t matter. The person with the whistle around their neck’s opinion does. Team is greater than me. You shouldn’t think of why or why not you’re on whatever team. You should be proud and love your team, no complaints.
But no one ever tells the story about the hard worker who got everything stolen right from under her. It’s like.. I can’t even explain it.
Doing something you love and putting all your energy and focus into it, but in the end someone else makes the team and knocks you down, taking your breathe along with steal.
No matter how you think you’re performing, and no matter what any one of your friends is telling you doesn’t matter when you have someone else making decisions. It’s all in their hands.
I’m not one for complaining, but when nothing special is going on in your life and you have this one constant, and then it’s suddenly taken from you like a four month old child and a pacifier, you feel like everything that matters is gone in an instance. Helplessly wondering where it went.
I drove myself crazy, going over every second of practice, and everything that all my teammates had told me over the past few months, but nothing prepared me for this.
Not getting the jersey I wanted, really hurt me, and I was confused about it for what seemed like six months, but turned out to only be twenty-four hours. I felt as if my coach didn’t see all the hard work I put into practice. Like she was seeing right through me, to go on to the next girl waiting in line for a varsity jersey.
The day she told me, I held in the tears. I didn’t want to look like a cry baby, even though that’s exactly how I felt like acting. I just nodded, tried to smile, and tried harder to walk away without having to listen to another word. And when I became quiet through the practice some people asked why and all I had to say was, “ She told me I’m dressin’ for JV tomorrow.” Most of their reactions were asking me “Why?” or making a questioning face, and I would just shrug and walkaway so they wouldn’t see my eyes start watering. It didn’t help that they were all complaining about the team I was on and who took my place. After practice our coach went up to a few girls and was asking them if they knew why they were on JV. I took notice to this and decided that I would change and dash out before she had time to get to me. My plan was almost working when I noticed her standing by the corner waiting for me. So what do I do? I turn around the other way and take the back door out.
JV. I just thought that I had earned something a little higher than that, but she didn’t. There was nothing I could do about her decision, so I didn’t want to talk about it to anyone. I didn’t want to, but I learned that you get past the situation easier when you do talk about it to a friend that has a clue where you’re coming from. Someone who listens when you have something that makes you feel like your world is being ripped apart from the stitches by someone you look up to. Someone who has been through your situation and doesn’t look at you like you’re pathetic when you start crying in the middle of a sentence and you have to pause a second before you continue on. There’s a distinct difference between telling your story to someone who has been through it, and someone who hasn’t.
I learned not to get your hopes up by what people, who don’t make decisions, say. That you should only pay attention to the person who holds the key to your future.
I would say I wish I knew this before, but I probably would still be confused about the team I’m on.
She told me she wanted to “balance out the teams.” So someone wouldn’t be stuck on the bench.
Ouch. I’ve been working since August and this chick comes in and already she’s better than me? All my friends might not be coaches, but they can spot when someone is better than another. My coach saying this made me feel empty and worthless. Like I was a ten karat diamond ring that was buried like a young child’s first goldfish. Something that had value at first, but the next second, didn’t. I felt so insecure that everything I had worked on, and pushed through was worth nothing.
Some people are lucky enough to be born with either natural ability, or an inherited name.
I have neither.
And I don’t know what else I can do beside work my hardest, when that apparently doesn’t get me anywhere.
After my first of a second JV season, thought of another meaning she might of meant by balancing out the teams. The entire JV consist of six sophomores and four juniors. I don’t know if they look up to us or not, but them asking me questions, and telling them to shake something off, that everything is going to be fine, made me feel like a parent to the team.
A team needs a leader, someone to step up and get everyone rolling. I’m not usually one to do it, because there’s always someone older, or that has been playing longer on the team, or for whatever reason. But tonight, I felt like a leader. And it was cool helping the other girls with plays, or having to tell them that they didn’t do anything wrong.
It felt good and I love everyone on the team.
I just don’t know why I can’t let go of this other girl taking away what I worked so hard for and thought I had earned, but have her just walk in and it be handed to her on a silver platter.
Team is greater than me. I’m not just saying this because I want so badly to be on varsity, but I truly feel like I would be better for the team rather than this other girl. Maybe she wants me to help out on JV, but why make me have to sacrifice what I’ve worked so hard for? If she thought the other girl would be a good fit too, then why not test her out on varsity first?
I don’t really quite know how to explain this feeling.
But it hurts.
OH and P.S. STOP complaining about your VARSITY shoes or ugly VARSITY jersey.

Miley, Miley, Miley..
What are we going to do with this child?!
Oh my goodness.
Just last week I was telling someone about this awesome YouTube video Miley posted, because the wanted to clear up some stuff with her fans.
Some of the stuff being:
a) NO, she's nawt getting married.
b) Yes, she still lives at home (she recorded the video in her mom's shoe closest.. I can't get over the fact(s) that her mom has a closet just for shoes, or that she has a computer in her shoe closet.)
and c) yeah, I can't remember what C was..
Oh! No, she didn't get in trouble with the cops.

But she sounded really sincere and, real? I don't know, like a normal seventeen year old.
I don't get how people criticize her for not being a normal teenager, because she's not.

Grew up wanting to be in the biz, and when she got here she found a lot to love, and a lot not to love.
And everyone who isn't in the spotlight 24/7 and doesn't have creeper paparazzo hanging around them at all time doesn't know what it's like.
I tell myself that I wouldn't be bothered with it. But I'm pretty sure I'm lieing.
Anyway, Miley apparently has her second (known) tattoo, I wasn't aware she had a first but it's "Just Breathe" across her ribs-uh, ouch?.
Mhmmm, got to admit that it's kind of cute..
In other news, Miley appeared at the 2010 European Music Awards and from what I've read on the Internet, everyone seems to think her D&G dress was pretty sleazy because it showed off "side boob" I don't necessarily agree on that.
The dress is D&G, of course there's going to be something dramatic about it.
Do you expect her to wear something off the rack at Dillards? I think not.
I think I love MC again..
I'm not sure yet.

So, I was logging onto AOL and the news bar pops up and what do I find?
A link that says something about shopping, so of course I click on it, and BOOM.
I see and read the information that is going to make the Longview Mall, not an exactly huge waste of concrete and shopping space!!
"Ten Retailers Turning Department Stores Into Mini-Malls"
Apparently JCPenney's cut a deal with Aldo, which is one of my favorite places to buy accessories and shoes, and there is going to be 1,500 stores around the country! Which, hopefully one of those will be in our little ole scrap of a mall. The first "Call It Spring" by Aldo shop is going to be opened in the Penney's New York City store this year, with another 100 stores by spring and 500 more openings by fall 2011. Inside the shop will include men's and women's shoes and.. HANDBAGS.
Right about now I'm squealing with girl-ish joy.
Next is "French Connection" which is going to be in Sears.
Now, I'm not one to usually be caught in Sears, but I like "French" and "Connection" so I was already interested. Then I went to the web site-well actually I bing-ed it, then went to it's web site- and was sold.

go to the above and prepare to save all your Christmas money, to spend in Sears.

Cyrus
I am.. at my limit with the Cyrus family.
First, Miley's all cute and kid-friendly Hannah Montana (first two seasons)
And her dad is ah-nnnoying on there btw, and of course he wouldn't have gotten the job if it hadn't been for his daughter getting the lead.
Second she becomes a bit more rebellious not to bad.
Oh but wait, there was those racy pictures that were circulating..
Including the Vanity Fair cover
and dating that twenty year old at sixteen years old.
Now up to date-ish we have
-A TMZ video of her grinding her forty-something male producer at a night club, that she shouldn't even have been allowed into. Let me add.
-Dating her cutie ex-Liam Hensworth, and PDA-ing everywhere they went.
-Her underwear/Lady Gaga wannabe outfits (plus her bringing her little sis into it!) P.S she said right before her first premiere of the outfits that she's "not trying to be slutty"

-Can't Be Tamed. Album. Video. Song. Everything.
-No longer the Hannah Montana we know and (used) to love.
I get that she wants to grow up and everything. But I just don't think this is the way to do it.
She could be more classy about it, and not all.. I don't wanna say slutty but..
I didn't know this til recently, but she was suing her parents for management of her own career when she was dating Justin Gatson, you know the underwear model?
She's also bought her own house that she planned to move into when she turned eighteen with Liam, but they had their little break-up so she might be in that big ol' mansion by herself.
On top of all the problems and rumors that comes with being famous, her parents are getting divorced.
Just today I found this article with rumors saying that Tish, her mom, had an affair with Bret Michael's. You know that old man from Poison <---I think

Darlin' Don't Ever Grow Up
So let us assume that you have head Taylor Swift's "Never Grow Up"
And you already know that you know that I love it, because it is Taylor Swift and I love TS.
BUT.
I.
LOVE.
THIS.
SONG.
It makes me think about how everyone was when we were in first grade and how different it is now that we're in eleventh.
There wasn't competitiveness in school.
Everyone was, for the most part, nice to each other.
Lizzie McGuire was the shiz.
Hannah Montana didn't exist yet.
When we painted or colored for "activity time" and that didn't mean brainstorm about the piece of lit that the class is currently reading.
When we weren't even thinking/STRESSING about college, and where we wanted to go vs. where we could actually get in.
I just don't want to grow up.

Back to December.
I don’t even know where to begin..
Let me attempt this.
First, Taylor in Glamour (she looked ah-mazing) was really awesome because she opened up about what’s happened in the past two years and how she wrote all the songs through experiences in her own life. Also how she’s not looking for that typical all American boy, who’s hot and cool. But in personality and someone who loves what they do.
Ready?
On October 12, Tay released a new tune, “the breakup ballad” “Back to December, and, like me, Swifter’s everywhere immediately speculated that the song was about TL.
I’ve listened to this amazing song so many times, but the first time I heard it, I knew it was about Lautner. Here’s some back up info:
-“You've been good, busier then ever.”
Analysis: When you’re referred to constantly as the “Twilight Hottie” you have a pretty booked up schedule of meet-and-greets, auditions for might-be-blockbusters, movie premieres of you’re already own multimillion dollar Saga.
-“Your guard is up and I know why.”
Analysis: If you don’t know this then you know you’re aren’t at my level of dedication to Taylor Swift. SHE broke up with TAYLOR LAUTNER. The boy (almost) every teenage girl in the world loves to see with his shirt off, and would die to go out with. So basically I’m saying that his ego was hurt a lil bit.
-“Cause the last time you saw me is still burned in the back of your mind. You gave me roses and I left them there to die.”
Analysis: He was into it more than she was.-“So this is me swallowing my pride, standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night”
Analysis: She is sorrrrrrrryyyy! LAUTNER! MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!
Taylor Swift writes songs about boys who SCREW HER OVER.
She is sorrrrrryy!!! She got freaked about how nice you were to her, she felt like it was too good to be true.
-“I go back to December all the time.”
Analysis: December is when they split. I can’t believe I just spelt that out for you.-“Turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you, wishing that I realized what I had when you were mine.”
Analysis: My theory is, that when she began braking it off with Lautner, she used some line describing how she felt tied down, at risk, or overrun by all of his female fans. Then of course she realized she wanted to have him.-“I'd go back to December, turn around and make it all right. I go back to December all the time. These days I haven't been sleeping
Staying up playing back myself leaving,
When your birthday passed and I didn't call.
And I think about summer, all the beautiful times
I watched you laughing from the passenger side.”
Analysis: She regrets breaking it off, wishes she could have do over.
-“Realized that I loved you in the fall.
Then the cold came, the dark days when fear crept into my mind.
You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye.”Analysis: She got a little scared, because if you know her past, all the previous relationships seemed fine. But they weren’t. And she always was the one who got hurt.
Chorus repeated.
Analysis: Tan skin. Sweet smile. Taylor. Lautner.
-“And how you held me in your arms that September night,
The first time you ever saw me cry.”
Analysis: Okay, I have to give props to AP, because she made me see this one. Think about it, September. MTV Video Music Awards. THE infamous incident with he who shall not be named because he is a ridiculous greedy egoistic douche. And WHO was on the stage when this happened?
Taylor Lautner.
So he didn’t take care of her when she was on the stage, he did off the stage and that’s even sweeter.
-“Maybe this is wishful thinking, probably mindless dreaming. If we loved again I swear I'd love you right. I'd go back in time and change it but I can't, so if the chain is on your door, I understand.”
Analysis: Taylor really, really, really, really wants Taylor back.

Analysis: TL take TS back. Now.
Okay, let’s be unrealistic here and say that I and all the others who think it’s about TL are wrong; but in a the new issue of “Ladies Home Journal” Taylor admits that she might always have feelings for TL. When asked to name her current crush, "Taylor Lautner. It's always going to be Taylor." Is was the lovely girl said.
"Someone who loves you for who you are. I like doing cute art projects with glitter, and there have been guys who've made me feel like that's weird," she explained. "But then there are guys who find it endearing."
THAT is the cutest thing. And I think all the girls in the world can relate to that. You don’t have to do “cute are projects with glitter” but whatever kind of activities you do like doing, having someone you know make you feel weird about it.. It sucks.
Taylor talked about “Speak Now” toooooo!! Calling it "diverse, detailed, relationship-y. I'm turning relationship into an adjective."

Analysis: Taylor Swift is amazing.
When I got to this part, I thought I had misread something, but no. Taylor is being Taylor when she answers her dream collaboration would be with the one and only, Jay-Z "Our genres are completely different, but there could be something cool about that," she said. "I like to write about relationships. I like it when my friends come over and we crowd around the piano and sing Journey songs at the top of our lungs. ... And I like things that make me feel 7 again."
I love that she loves feeling like she’s 7 again. Because I so do that allllllll the time. And I love it.

Hey, I’m not complaining.
Mine and it’s video were the first tastes of “Speak Now” that we got, and I have to be honest when I say that, at first Ididn’treallyknowhowTaylor’sthirdalbumwouldgoconsideringallthesuccessFearlesshad.
Whew!
But after listening to Mine (43 times according to my iTunes play count) and watching the video, I was instantly assured that “Speak Now” is going to have as much, or even more success that “Fearless” had.
And I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am.

MC's Man-squeezes.
Okay this is juicey and just plain lovely.
And I was lazy and copied and pasted (WITH the URL) the article, and left my own comments. Lazy. Yes.
Yesterday we reported that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had ended their relationship. The pair made a splash both on-screen, as co-stars of the film The Last Song, and off. This was pretty much Miley's first "adult" (using the term loosely) relationship. It was with the Liam who Cyrus went through her rather significant image transformation, leaving behind Hannah Montana for the "Can't Be Tamed" in-your-face pre-adult that she is today.
Nobody knows what the future holds for Miley and her love life, but there might be some clues in the past. So join us, as we take a photographic journey through the several past loves of Miley Cyrus' life.
Nick Jonas: The Disney Duo. Miley's first real relationship was a very public and very popular one. Miley and Nick's union delighted fans of the Jonas Brothers and "Hannah Montana" everywhere. (Well, who are we kidding. It totally pissed off some Jonas Brothers fans who assumed the guys were waiting specifically for them alone.) When Miley and Nick broke up, Miley said she "bawled for a month straight." The two have been rumored to still have feelings for one another.
Nick is my favorite guy for Miley. He just seems so cute and loving! They’re like the ultimate Disney couple.
Justin Gaston: Miley quickly realized the best revenge for her broken heart was simple: date an underwear model. The then-20-year-old Louisiana native Justin Gaston quickly swept Miley off her feet, to the point where she was making lascivious faces at the young man while he was modeling clothes on a catwalk. The two parted ways after nine months, when Cyrus went off to film The Last Song with...

Liam Hemsworth. And that brings us pretty much up to date. Cyrus and Hemsworth met while filming The Last Song. Miley was so inspired by her relationship that made a mini-career out of making pronouncements about the Internet, "Twilight" and pretty much anything else you could think of. She even proclaimed that she and Liam were "deeper than normal people." Miley even quit Twitter for Liam. And that's like the BIGGEST thing you could do for someone you love. With Miley and Liam over, maybe she'll jont Witter again? Maybe she'll get back together with Nick? Maybe Justin Gaston's not busy?...
Miley, take some advice from someone you know nothing about.
Go for Nick.

Woman! You just broke up with Liam, or separated, whatever! And you’re already patrolling around with J. Bieber?!
I will die if Miley and Justin date, go out, marry each other and have cute little Canadian/musically-talented babies together.
You see, I had the impression from Miley, that she was (in a paraphrase) immune to Bieber fever?
That could have just been a front, to have some alone time (ooooooooh) together, before this whole expedition explodes, like we all know is going to happen. Because who in their right mind wouldn’t go crazy over the Biebers and Miley dating?
It’s similar to the Miley and Nick sit-eeeeeee-aaa-tion. You know, the whole, “OMG! That two-faced (catch that?) girl stole mah man!” Because unless you were living under a rock a few years ago, you would know that the Jonas Brothers (right about know all teenage girls everywhere would be screaming their heads off, but they’ve kinda been out of the spotlight lately) were the, well, Justin Bieber’s of now.
Anyhow, here’s the article that MTV sent me, that set me offffff.
A couple of days ago Justin Bieber played a show at New York City's Madison Square Garden. We weren't able to make it because our doctor said our eardrums would not be able to withstand the noise of the screaming fans, so we are left with mere photo documentation, such as the somewhat steamy shot above.
Yup, that's Justin Bieber, putting the stage moves on none other than Miley Cyrus. As we mentioned before, Miley Cyrus joined Justin Bieber for a duet on the song "Overboard." Miley and Justin certainly seem to have some, uh, chemistry. So much chemistry that there's speculation that the two are...DATING?! Will Justin Bieber be the next guy to join Miley's Boyfriend Hall of Fame?
It was a far cry from Miley's stance from just a few months back when she claimed she was immune to Bieber fever. It's also worth noting how Miley seemed to polish up her look a little bit...
Shorter, more-styled hair, the always in-style little black dress--that's some classy lassy style right there.
Justin Bieber's My World Tour rolls on through September. No word on whether Miley will be joining him for any other dates (or dates, if you catch my drift).

Kayne's back.
Obviously you know about last years Kayne and Taylor fiasco at the MTV VMA's. When he stupidly got up on stage and interrupted her acceptance speech,(What a DB!) and just shrugged when people starting booing, like it was noooo big deal at all.
Okay, well I think that by him doing this MTV would have some sense and oh, I don't know, ban him from this year's VMA's? But no. MTV has decided to not only let him attend, but let him perform.
I know right? I was thinking the same thing. What the heck is MTV thinking!!
Well I know what they're thinking actually. More people are going to be watching just because they want to see what obscure thing Kayne will do next. It's already working too, because people have been tweeting, facebooking, myspacing, and blogging about this ordeal which is just giving Kayne what he wants most. Attention.
Anyway, I will be watching on Sept. 12, because it's me and I watch all the award shows. Not for Kayne.
Deadmau5 is going to be the DJ for the night, and he's one of my faves so I'm excited for him.
Emma Stone is going to be a presenter, yayyyy!
Ugh, and Ke$ha has been talking non-stop about how she's ready to face Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Taylor Swift. Honestly, I like her, but I hope she doesn't win anything. Sorrry.
I'd rather see the Bieb's walk away with all the awards than see her win one.
Along with the devil performing, Florence + The Machine and Drake are for sure set to perform. I'll be watching these peeps, but when He takes the stage, I'll be either tuning out for a few, or muting. Haven't decided yet..

Speak Now. Finally!
Or forever hold your peace?
Lately in magazines and online websites such as Us Weekly, OK!, and access Hollywood pictures of Taylor Swift shooting a music video in Maine, in a WEDDING gown have been circulating.
If you’re a total Swifter than you know that she was on a live web chat on April 20 to talk about her new album, that before the web chat, no one knew anything about! I don’t know about you, but I was going crazy from not knowing what was happening!
On the web chat she announced that her third studio album Speak Now will be dropped on October 25, 2010. Swift also went along saying that, “THE day is October 25th. Everywhere.” To assure her other country fan bases they would get the album, no later, no sooner. Seems like forever in any country, right?
That’s why she’s releasing a single, Mine, August 16! She informed us all that the shoots of the music video were from this single.
How many tracks on the album? Fourteen. All written by Swift. She told her fans via web chat that that, “didn’t happen on purpose. All the songs that made the cut, I wrote.” Backing herself up she added, “All my great ideas come at like, 3 a.m. And I didn’t have a co-writer around at 3 a.m. So I had to finish myself.” Personally, I want the album even more now. I mean, Fearless which she had Liz Rose as co-writer on some of my favorite songs, were awesome. I loved them, and still do.
But to have an entire album written by Taylor Swift, is like reading her diary or what she calls, “an opened book.” Not her back-up singers, or her producers, or anyone else’s. Hers.
I’m not an anti-co-writer or anything, I just feel a sensation to know that words flowing with the music and from her angelic voice are going to be HER experiences.
You’re probably wondering why I’m going so crazy, and the reason is that this album is a very personal collection (alike her other albums), but this next quote is what kicked me off my rocker.
"Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything," Taylor says of the songs on the Speak Now track list. "These songs are made up of words I didn't say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person."
Which is why I put the ‘Or forever hold your peace’ subtitle. Because most people don’t have the opportunity to write a song, and produce it for the whole world, including whoever it’s about, to hear. Most of us write it in our diary or complain about it in our heads. But Taylor, she makes another outlet for us, and herself. She writes about the things young women go through, and makes it into catchy upbeat fun songs. Even if they’re filled with heartbreak. She knows what’s going on with girls, because she is one. And writes the things she lives. And every girl lives something similar.
Questioned about the two year gap between Fearless and Speak Now Swift says, “I write what I live.. You’ve got to give yourself time to live, so you’ve got something to write about.”
Agreeed.
Right now, I’m going to address the Anti-Swifters.
Most of you, who for some reason are even reading this blog, or others like it, (why are you even doing that?) are going on. And. On. About how, “All her music is about looooooooove. And boys. It’s so stupid. She should teach her fans how to not depend on boys. And do other stuff.”
My attention is on you now my dears. And I’m going to ask a very simple question. What is your life about?
Are you saying to me, that you don’t care if the guy you have a crush on doesn’t even notice you? Or that you don’t even THINK about it. Because you’re lying. It’s as simple as that. You’re jealous of her because she addresses her ex’s or previous douche bag crushes in her songs. You’re too scared to address them. But really. You both are alike, you just have different ways of doing things. Like you probably address your problems to your diary, or go over them in you mind. Taylor puts them in her songs. See? You do have the same problems. I think if you start to listen to her, you should especially take in the Speak Now album. Which, I expect, is her most personal album yet.
In fact when asked for her advice for first time songwriters Swift says, “Make sure you have details.. Because that’s what people relate to..” I’m paraphrasing now because I can’t remember her exact words! “If something happened to you on a certain day, and you put it in your song, the fans can relate to it more than if you just say a week. Or a month. The more details the better. Fans aren’t going to have your exact details, but something similar.”
Back to Anti’s-
Stop being haters because she’s someone to look up too. And just because everyone else loves her, doesn’t mean you have to hate her to look cool.
I hate that about people. Just because someone’s awesome and successful people turn the other way when the subject comes up, just because they don’t want to ‘follow the crowd.’ that’s a saying for drugs and alcohol. Not Taylor Swift.

During the chat session, Taylor went on about her condo in Nashville.
Saying how she’s so excited, ‘because now I have my own little drawers. With my own little socks. In my drawers. I’m just so excited.’
And how she has a whole room at her condo and the studio, dedicated to her fan gifts. And how she’s going to put pictures she’s been given, and pictures her brother took of her and her band on her walls. Woah! I got carried away.
On how she decorated her condo, she says that she doesn’t like matchy matchy, so one room, ‘is all gyspy slash hippie slash park.’ You get the point.
Tay also talked about how she loves cooking. And for her birthday, a majority of her friends gave her cook books (which are all on a shelf hanging in her condo). She went on and on about the books, then joked, “You know when you go into a book store and you see a ‘100 different ways to make a sandwhich’ book, and you go ‘Who buys that?’ I buy that.” I love how she’s so into things that people are like ‘What?’ too. It makes the nerdy part of me feel awesome.
She’s just so awesome. And what’s cool about it is that she doesn’t even have to try. We love all the girly, nerdy, love-obsessed that is Taylor Swift.

Summer Movies
So I was just reading an issue of Entertainment Weekly, and in it, an article about summer movies SUCKING was published.
Titled "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS SUMMER'S MOVIES?"
The story bashed Sex and the City 2, which I personally haven't seen! but my mom loved it, Get Him To The Greek, insanely funny, Prince of Persia, which the man behind this article I won't say his name but his initials are MH call Price of Persia: The Abs of Jake, Shrek and last but not least.. Killers! My Husbands movie that was so awesome I have no clue how it only had $16 Mil opening weekend.
So anyway the basics of this absurd yet legit story are that follow:
-2010 Had the worst Memorial Day weekend box office in 9 years
-So far this summer, the box office is down $147 Mil from last year
Could this be because we're in recession?
I mean, I'm not one to be all political or whatever, but I watch The View occasionally (everyday) and they talk (Elizabeth argues, but anyway) how things are, not as bad but, bad still in the economy.
Doesn't Hollywood realize that some people just can't go out and spend about $20-$30 like they used to, to go watch movies.
I love going to the theater. I love the expirence. I love everything Hollywood creates! But goodnesss! I can't go out to the movies as much as I want. I'm a teenager! A jobless teenager!
I applied for the movie theater, but they haven't calllled:(
So you can't say that it's my fault I can't get a afford it.
Okaaaaay and also, there's this thing about the 10 things this person hates about Katherine Heigl's character in Killers.
They're all about how she's sexy but doesn't own it up, or adult treated like a kid by parents, handles guns like snakes, blahblahblah!
Is it not OBVIOUS to YOU LS who works at ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY that this is the character that was CREATED not only by the writter but also the director.
I know it's your opinion, but who gives a damn about your opinion.
I don't.
This article degrades these movies, and compares them to the previous year that delievered The Hurt Locker and Avatar.
This is 2010. Not 2009.
Get that through yalls thick skulls and appreciate what Hollywood's giving.

Doesn’t everyone nothing last amazing forever? I’m not saying that Hollywood is going down the drain because it never will. I’m just saying everything goes through a rough patch.
Doesn’t it seem appropriate that something as huge as the movie industry also takes a hit while the country is in recession? It may seem like Hollywood is untouchable, but obviously from the recent stat’s it’s not. It’s taking a hit like every other industry in this country.
Looking over the article I read a line that says that “Killers and Marmaduke are not as good as staying home, even without air-conditioning.”
Okay, so you’re telling all of the movie goers who read this magazine that these movies suck, right?
Some people are as naïve to read what you publish and believe it.
I personally have not seen Marmaduke, but Killers was a very actiony/comedic movie. I wasn’t bored at any time and was laughing and feeling the actors emotion off the screen.
But these people that believe you? They are the reason the box office is down so low. Because you tell them that these movies aren’t worth watching.
I realize I’m no expert on these things, but, besides what my mother says, I have common sense and I look things that I care about through.

The Last Airbender
Okay.
So let me just start by saying that I am a HUGE fan of the Avatar series. SO huge that I own the whole collection on DVD.
The movie premiered July 1st, and directed/produced/written by M. Night Shalyamahasdhfkls. All of his movies suck, except like two, so I was very worried about this movie. I knew that if it sucked, it would probably be like Twilight. It sucked but everyone still loved it because it was Twilight.
That was SOOOO not the case here!
I found myself bored for 75%+ of the movie.
Whoever hired M. Night for the job seriously needs to be checked for illness. It could have been so much more. So. Much.
But because of this guy who thinks he's the bomb dot com, did the job, it honestly made me want to cry.
Don't waste your money on going to see it. The ONLY reason I woulddddd encourage you, would be so that it'll make enough money so that a second movie could be made by a DIFFERENT DIRECTOR.
That is all.

I still pop an old Jonas Brothers cd in my stereo every now and then (there's one in right now actually, the self-titled album Jonas Brothers) and I'm totally cool with admitting I still listen to them.

describes how we've (THE WORLD OF TEENAGE GIRLS) has recently looked over the Jonas Brothers to stare at a little wanna-be p.i.m.p. Justin Bieber.
I admit to this.
But the article made me realize that's what I was doing.
And I know that, supposedly, the Jonas Brothers are so old. But are they?
I mean they dish out new stuff, I know that the previous album, Lines, Vines, And Trying Times, wasn't the biggest success the Bros had. But that doesn't mean that's the end.
But anyway, what I'm trying to say here is that I'd pick the JoBros over little ol' Justin Bieb's any day.
The Bieb's music, if you haven't noticed already, is all about girls and relationships. I don't recall one song on My World or My World 2.0, which wasn't about girls..
If I'm wrong correct me, but I litery haven't listened to all of My World, but from the 2.0, I can pretty much guess it.
Where as the JoBro's, yeah, they have alot of songs about girls and relationships, but they also have songs about life, and growing up and the expirences everyone has, like Nick's diabetes, for example.
And of course they, like Miley, are going to have to do their whole transformation into the adult world, but that won't be for a while, I don't think, considering they're show, Jonas, on Disney. But I could be wrong.. Which is not likely. But anyway, when they do, I'm almost positive it won't be containing exotic birds in cages and very sexy clothing/hair/make-up (Go Miley!!). But anyway.
All in all, I'd rather see the Jonas Brothers achieve more and hear they're music as I grow more mature, than listen to whiny "Baby, baby, baby, oooooh!" that is Justin Bieber.

Yearboooooks!
First year staffer/photographer, and if I may, I think I did pretty well!
I thought, as a whole, the book was going to be.. not so great. But better than last years.
They got in yesterday morning, and while I was in yearbook I was flipping through them, not reading the stories-as you know, no one honestly does- and it did catch my attention.
I mean, who doesn't wanna check all the little pictures everywhere to see if their face made the cut?
I know I do, even if I hate the pictures-which is mostlikely to happen like it did yesterday on the opening of the book, not the first page! the cover on one side then that next page? yeah, thanks B. Sullivan!- I feel.. weird? special? knowing that when people open up this book my face is there.
It's creepy, yeah, but whatever.
Oh and S. Torres' spread of the XC girls! OMG get it! I do believe it is the BEST looking spread in the entire book!
(Now I haven't read the story yet, so idk how it would do in competition, but the visual of it.. AH-MAZING!)

First subject of the matter, that no one can seem to forget.
The Grammy's.
Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks sing a duet.
Point 1: Her ear piece had a malfunction, so she couldn't hear herself.
Oh, what's that? You say,"if she really was a great singer, it wouldn't matter if she couldn't hear."
Is that so? Let's see you up on a stage in front of thousands of people, live on televison, and sing.
That's right. You're backing down.
Point 2: She wasn't even singing in her normal melody. Yeah, that shouldn't matter as much, but OH WAIT!
They barely had time to rehearse, according to, Access Hollywood, I think it was. (My bad I already closed the window :P)
Point 3: You are just jealous because you can't sing. You aren't dearly loved by millions. You aren't capable of carrying a tune. And you are not famous.
I'm so sorry your life sucks, but that doesn't mean you go and take it out on the people that have successfully made their dreams come true.

Can't Be Tamed.
Really Miley? Realllyy?
Okay, I understand that you want to transition and grow with your career and all.
But THIS was nawt the way to do it! Honestly, when you "transition" from one step to the next, especially something involving kids, then you don't wanna jump right into it.
Or is that just me?
And of course I watched her E! interview, and yeahyeah. Sexy isn't the "premisis" as you say, but how can you possibly expect people to believe that?
I understand that say, Lady Gaga, could do something like this and it would just be the greatest thing ever. But honey? YOU ARE NOT IN YOUR 20'S!
You still have to think of what your fans between the ages of 5-10 will be thinking of this. And you said that your video is something you didn't have to worry about your little sister, Noah 10, going to school and kids be like,"oh your sisters video blahblahblah" I really don't think that's right.
I mean you live in LA, I live in the freaking middle of NO WHERE and people (meaning Aria and I) have already combed through every possible outcome of this.
You haven't changed as you say, this is just a new part of you.
Well New Part of Miley, when you start seeing a difference in your sales and crap, know it's because SOME parents don't want their kids seeing innocent little Southern Belle Hannah Montana being transformed.
Oh, and you thought you had little boys/teenage boys after you then? Just wait till they get ahold of this.
And what's with buying your own house?
I vagely remember reading an article or seeing an interview, with you saying that you and your parents had made a deal, that you wouldn't move out till you were like 21? I'll have to dig that up soon..
But on that note, you see Miley.
What they are trying to do is keep you from hurting yourself.
Yes, Liam is a HART, (HAWT, ATHLETIC, RICH, TONED) but THAT my dear doesn't mean break off your deals with your parents just so he can spend the night!
I honestly, by what I know of Liam so far, think that if you WERE to get prego think that he would take care of you. But I'm not so sure how YOU would handle the situation..
All I know now is that teenage hormones are going off the charts after this.

Uhmygawd.
So.
The new Alphas book? Movers and Fakers? Amazing.
Lisi Harrison, I love you!
You know, (well awh-viously you don't but) I almost thought that a spin-off Clique series was going to be a disaster. Because you can't beat the Clique, you just can't!
Then I read the first Alphas book, and. Totally. Changed. My. Mind!!
I can't even explain on this blogg how it makes me so excited to have that book in my hands and read about a fictional characters that will never exisist, that I will never meet, that I will never be friends with.
It urks me so.
The closet thing I have to a Skye/Kristen/Alicia/Massie/Allie is my BFF Aria, who, like me, is in love with the series.
Yeah, we're 16 and still read the series but we don't care because we are committed fans. And shall be for forever more.

Well Fudge.
Is it just me, or does everyone seem like they try to cover up what was cool when we were kids? Remember that time we weren't afraid to admit that Hannah Montana was the bomb? I just don't understand how something so harmless as a sitcom could be considered as such a "stupid and idioctic" show just because we've outgrown it a little. I mean seriously people, duh, we grow up. But that doesn't mean we have to constantly hate on the show, or Miley, because we're "too old" for her. That really doesn't even make sense if you consider the facts that a)she's growing up with us b)she's not just a little Disney kid that sings and acts anymore c)she's moving on with her life, and doing bigger projects. Just like everyone else in the world is moving along-or at least should be. And I'm just using Hannah Montana as an example, there's plenty of things that have gotten outdated, without us really agreeing.
Oh, you know what I mean. You don't have to be ashamed of what you like, because truthfully? There's other people that still watch Disney channel but they just don't admit it because they're scared of what their "friends" or in some cases "society" will think of that. What you've liked in your past doesn't have to be embarrassing unless you make it that way.
Next, I don't understand why people are wanting to grow up so fast anyway. You only live once, and you shouldn't let little things keep you from hiding your happiness. Once you're old and grey you're going to sit on your porch swing thinking, "Now why did I want to grow up so fast, and miss what could have been some important factors in my life?"
So if you want to tell me how you are so sick of all these kid shows, and kid stores, and kid everything.
Do me a fav and shut up. I don't care if you talk about it to anyone else, as long as it's not me.
Because frankly I don't care and if you haven't noticed at this point then, you're an LBR.
I'm just saying.
